Day 1 – Athens –
Arrival to Athens ,meeting at the airport ,transfer to your hotel Dinner and Overnight ( D )
Day2 – Athens
After breakfast, pickup from the hotel for your half day morning tour. See Syntagma Square, the House of Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Athens Academy, the University, the National Library and the Hadrian’s Arch. Pass by the Temple of Olympian Zeus and visit the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of the modern era were held in 1896. On the Acropolis visit the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally “the harmony between material and spirit”, the Parthenon. Continue and visit the place where at last the statues found their home and admire the wonders of the classical era, the museum of Acropolis. At the end of the tour, drop off at the hotel or at the city centre. Remainder of the day at own leisure. Dinenr and Overnight in Athens Hotel.(B,D )
Day 3 Olympia
After breakfast, pick up from hotel and travel across the central Peloponnese to Olympia, – visit the original Olympic Stadium and the archaeological museum.– Dinner and Overnight Olympia (B,D)
Day 4 Poros
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Killini port ( approx. 1hour & 30min). Ferry to Poros/ kefalonia ( 1 hour & 30 min) . Arrival in Poros and transfer to Lassi resort (approx. 50minutes) and in to 4* hotel – Free time – Evening Transfer to the port of Argostoli ( approx. 10minutes ) for a Sunset cruise with dinner around the Argostoli Bay . Return back to the port and transfer to the hotel Overnight (B,D)
Day 5 Kefalonia
Kefalonia is one of the most stunning and picturesque islands in Greece and without doubt lives up the title of “Island of Dreams”. From the Myrtos Beach, one of the most photographed beaches and regularly listed in the worlds Top 10, to the picturesque hamlet of Assos with its stunning Venetian Fortress ruins and to the “En Vogue” fishing village of Fiskardo.The impressive underground caves of Drogarati and the spectacular underground lake of Melissani are waiting to be discovered and are superb examples of nature at its best. Sample some of the famous Kefalonian cuisine when we stop for lunch in pretty Ag.Efimia.,return back to Hotel,Dinner and Overnight (B,D)
Day 6 Kefalonia
After breakfast transfer to the port of Sami for a full day cruise to the island of Ithaca,Join glorious scenery, charming fishing villages, mythical tales and history at the beautiful island of Ithaka, the ancient kingdom of the hero Odysseus. Vathi, the capital of the island, is a small picturesque town built like an amphitheatre around the port.Delightful red roofed houses are set amongst enchanting scenery, twisting streets, alley ways, beautiful cafes and little shops. Kioni is a popular village nestled inside a horseshoe shaped bay, a life center around the attractive waterfront with many tavernas, shops and café bars.return back to the port of Sami,Dinner and Overnight( B,D)
Day 7 Delphi
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to the port of Sami (approx. 40 minutes) . Ferry to Patras (approx. 2hours & 30min). Travel across to the mainland to Delphi . Visit the archaeological site of Delphi on the slopes of Mount Parnassus. See the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios, Castalia Spring and the museum. Continue to Athens – Dinner / Overnight ( B,D)
Day 8 Athens
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport ( B )
